A Transformative Journey with Anurama Suresh

Anurama Suresh is an extraordinary teacher, psychologist, and facilitator. Her recent course, “12 Psychology Lessons from the Bhagavad Gita,” was a truly transformative experience.

Anurama’s deep understanding of psychology, spirituality, and the Bhagavad Gita shines through her insightful teachings. She has a unique ability to break down complex concepts into easily understandable terms, making the ancient wisdom accessible to modern minds.

Through her guidance, I’ve gained a profound appreciation for the Bhagavad Gita’s timeless wisdom. The course has opened up new pathways for self-awareness and personal growth. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to learn from such a knowledgeable and compassionate teacher.

“I participated in a brilliant course designed, curated and facilitated by Anurama. The course was based on 12 psychology lessons from Bhagvad Gita. It was surely a deeper experience that got unfolded over 3 months. Before this, while I got a chance to host a podcast with her and was amazed with her knowledge and sharing, I surely had felt how I wish I get to dive deeper with a course from Anurama and the wish came true in the year 2024.”

~ Manasi

“The session on 12 Psychology lessons from Gita was a great learning experience. Anurama has curated a wonderful program that integrates Bhagavat Gita and science-based psychology WITHOUT any religious bias. It was not a discourse or a lecture I listened to but a space where we could engage with self and heal oneself. Her genuine concern for every human to move forward in their lives from wherever they are came through during the sessions. Her enthusiasm, equalising everyone and subject knowledge left us wanting for more. Heartfelt gratitude for this remarkable experience. Sarvam Sri Krishnarpanamasthu!!”

“I recently attended the “12 Psychology lessons from the Gita” workshop facilitated by Anurama, and it was an eye-opener. Before the sessions, my understanding of the Bhagavad Gita was limited to a few quotes I’d come across. But after attending all the session, I now have a solid grasp of the basics of the Gita. What stood out was how Anurama connected the verses to real-life stories and situations. It made the teachings so much more relatable and practical. She also included activities in each session that not only helped me learn about myself but also deepened my understanding of the Gita.

I’d highly recommend this course to anyone looking to improve their life, career, or simply become a better person. You don’t need to be from a psychology background-I’m from an engineering background, and I can already tell the lessons I’ve learned will be useful both in my career and personal life. Anurama is responsive in any questions / doubts you have.”

Detailed Course Modules:

Module 1: Shraddha – The Power of Trust and Self-Awareness
No higher victory exists than mastery over one’s own mind. In this opening module, we explore the foundation of any inner work: Shraddha — the unshakeable faith in oneself and the path. We integrate psychological frameworks that enable a deeper understanding of the forces shaping our inner world.

Module 2: Ahamkara and the Tyranny of Time
How much of our restlessness stems from our desire to control time? Here, we examine the ego’s relentless race against time and learn to liberate ourselves from the pressures that cloud judgment and peace.

Module 3: Samskaras – The Imprints that Guide Action
Every action springs from unseen impressions within. We delve into how our samskaras and conditioning propel us to act, and discover how disciplined action, rather than indulgence or inertia, purifies the mind and strengthens the will.

Module 4: Dukkha – The Hidden Gift of Pain
Detachment is often born through discomfort. In this module, we address how pain, when understood rightly, becomes the gateway to deeper love, freedom, and spiritual maturity — especially in our closest relationships.

Module 5: Trishna – The Endless Thirst of Desire
Unchecked desires lead to anxiety, tension, and burnout. This module helps us understand how desires entrap the mind and offers practices to step off the wheel of endless wanting, reclaiming inner contentment.

Module 6: Ekagratha – The Sacred Power of One-Pointed Focus
Attention is the first act of love. Here, we learn how to discipline our wandering minds, cultivate deep focus, and reclaim the innate joy that arises from being fully present.

Module 7: Samatvam – The Art of Equanimity
Pleasure and pain, praise and blame — the pairs of opposites that govern human life. We explore how to move beyond this duality and rest in the centeredness of samatvam, the true spirit of Yoga.

Module 8: Svadharma – The Path Aligned with Our Inner Nature
Each soul carries a unique blueprint. Discovering and aligning with one’s Svadharma is not only a spiritual act but a profound key to emotional and mental wellbeing.

Module 9: Willpower – The Inner Flame
In a world of easy distractions, willpower is a rare jewel. We examine how to systematically cultivate our WQ (Willpower Quotient), drawing on the Gita’s teachings to foster resilience, courage, and true freedom.

Module 10: Abhyasa – Becoming What We Practice
Repeated effort molds destiny. We explore the importance of conscious practice (abhyasa), deep psychological conditioning, and how sustained attention to our highest aspirations rewires our very consciousness.

Module 11: Kshama – Forgiveness and the Rewiring of the Mind
The journey from hatred to love is the most heroic of all. In this module, we explore the neuropsychology of compassion, and how forgiveness and humility are tools for deep inner reprogramming.

Module 12: Dhrashta – Living Authentically from the Witness Self
Beyond thought, beyond emotion, shines the pure witnessing consciousness. Here, we explore how to live authentically, not as fragmented selves, but as the radiant Atman — the indwelling Divine Presence.
